"Dear" in the Headlights

Thursday Night at 1:30 am Leticia(the "Dear"), woke up with headlights glaring in our bedroom. A car had come from the back of the kiwis drove across our back lawn around the north side of our house and then finished their adventure by driving across the front lawn. We decide to put the little picnic table across the opening between the persimmon tree and the end of the slide.

Jarom's Short visit

Jarom came home to participate in one of his life long friend, Garrett Mattos' wedding(who was baptized one year ago when Jarom was on his mission in Thailand), and to baptize his good friend Jason Davey. It was fun to have him home for a short weekend. We put him on a plane back to DC on Sunday and his transfer flight got cancelled in Chicago so he was late getting home. What an ordeal that was.

Our New Flag Pole

We celebrated the 4th with a new addition to our property. The Flag is one that flew over the US Capital a few years ago. We ordered a bigger one when we were in DC that will be sent to us soon. I guess a plan for lighting is in order so it can fly 24 hours a day. Another of our many projects that need to be done.

One of our favorite places we visited here was the Washington DC temple. It was so beautiful and it's amazing the feelings you feel there.

My wife and I recently had the privledge to fly to Washington DC to view sites and see our two youngest boys at work selling security systems for Icon. We enjoyed seeing all the sites and appreciate all of our founding fathers for all that they did.
Our youngest, Shyler, has recently just completed her junior year in high school. She had the privledge of attending Disneyland and leading the GHS band as drum major down main street in the Disneyland parade. She had a very memorable time running around to different rides with her friends free of her parents. Since she is has just completed her junior year she will not be attending Disneyland as a GHS student ever again.
